Be prepared to share this super easy Cinnamon Pretzels recipe with anyone you share them with. This is a quick and easy recipe that will feed a crowd and entertain those unexpected guests. Oh and not to mention, your house will smell AMAZING afterwards!

I first came up with this recipe in November of 2017. I did a rather large Vendor show at the Duke Energy Convention Center when I was a Pampered Chef Consultant. I needed to highlight a few of my favorite products and did so with these Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels. They were a hit! So much so that Beanies and I went home the next day and printed the recipe off for our customers to take with them…ya know pre-covid days!

Can I replace the Coconut Oil in this Recipe?
Chances are you have seen this recipe floating around the web. The other version to this Cinnamon Pretzel Recipe is the use of Vegetable Oil. I try not to use vegetable oil. If you don’t have coconut oil or have an allergy to it you can totally use vegetable oil in place of my coconut oil version.

Can you taste Coconut Oil in recipes?
The last time I made these cinnamon and sugar pretzels I asked everyone who had them if they could taste the coconut oil and they said no. I typically use coconut oil as much as I can when I’m baking and when trying to eat healthier. I promise you; you can’t taste the coconut in the oil!
How to Make Cinnamon Pretzels in the Oven

In a large bowl, melt the coconut oil. Stir in the sugar and cinnamon until combined.

Add in your bag of pretzels.

Stirring gently with a spatula or large spoon, toss to coat every piece.

On a 11×13 baking sheet lay out your pretzels in an even layer.

Bake at 350° for 3-5 minutes. Once the sugar has turned color is when you want to remove them. Otherwise, the pretzels will burn.
Allow to sit for a minute or two and enjoy!

How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels in the Air Fryer
Follow the first few steps as listed above.

Once the pretzels are coated place in the air fryer. You may have to do this in 3 or 4 batches as you don’t want to overcrowd the air fryer basket.

Put the air fryer on 350° for 3-5 minutes. Our Instant Pot Air Fryer took 3 minutes to cook so be sure to watch it carefully as every air fryer is different.
How to store leftover Cinnamon Pretzels
We just put any leftovers in a gallon Ziploc bag and keep in the pantry. I’ll stick a handful of any leftover cinnamon sugar pretzels in the kids’ lunch in an airtight container. They’ll stay for up to a month, if they last that long!
