This air fryer salmon recipe is also made with a layer of asparagus for a delicious dinner the entire family will love!

The girls ask for this recipe at least twice a month. I don’t mind because it’s super healthy, goes with my way of eating on a low carb diet and super easy to clean up!
With this recipe, don’t be afraid of the seasoning! The seasoning is what makes meals so delicious. What I hear from a lot of my friends is “why is your food so good?”. Well my friends, the answer is I like to use seasoning!
This air fryer salmon recipe calls for Texas Seasoning. I get it at Kroger, however, you can use any steak seasoning. I’ll also use a can that I get from my local butcher right down the street. It’s equally as delicious.

I’ve cooked this recipe for several of my friends. When they hear that I’m putting salmon in their air fryer they often scrunch their nose at me in disgust. However, I’ve been cooking salmon for YEARS and this is hands down my favorite way.
You are left with a tender and juicy salmon with the outside of the skin becoming crunchy from the olive oil and seasonings. Don’t knock it until you try it!
Ingredients for Salmon and Asparagus

- 1 lb salmon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp Texas Seasoning (or favorite steak seasoning)
- 1 lb. asparagus, washed and trimmed
How to Cook Salmon in the Air Fryer

First, drizzle olive oil all over the salmon evenly. This will help the seasonings to stick and create a crust on the skin of the salmon.

Season your salmon generously with lemon pepper, garlic salt and Texas seasoning.

Place the asparagus into the bottom of an air fryer basket. Drizzle or spray the asparagus with olive oil. Next, season the asparagus with lemon pepper and garlic salt.

Place the salmon on top of the asparagus.

Air fry at 350° for 15-18 minutes.
Note: The thicker the salmon it may need more time. If you like a more rare salmon, cook for 12-15 minutes.

How to Store Leftover Salmon
Store any leftover salmon in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat back up in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes depending on the size left of the salmon or in the microwave.
If I have leftover salmon, I’ll throw it on top of a salad for a quick and easy lunch or dinner when the kids aren’t here.
